I’m a pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, California, and starting March 2024, will become Lead Pastor of Calvary Church of West Hills. Before serving at Immanuel, I pastored for fifteen years at Crossview Bible Church in Yucca Valley, California. On the side, I’ve taught classes as an Adjunct Professor at California Baptist University and a Course Administrator at The Master’s University, as well as guest speaking from time to time at camps, conferences, and at seminary.

My greatest joy is to shepherd God’s flock and preach his Word, equipping the saints for the work of the ministry and motivating them toward Christlikeness (Col. 1:28-29; Eph. 4:11-13). I love to lead and teach, and have a passion for leadership development and church revitalization.

Natalie and I met back in 1996 as freshmen at the Master’s College. We dated through college, then got married the summer after graduation. Now we have three teens age 13, 16, and 18.

In my free time, I like to hike, garden, camp, and stargaze. Pretty much anything that gets me outside in the fresh air, sunshine, and God’s incredible creation. Drop me a note! I’d love to meet you and hear what God’s doing in your life.
